Tides
For information on local tide times and heights please see the St Peter Port section on the BBC.co.uk website. This site gives tidal height predictions for up to 6 days in advance.
There can be in excess of 10 metres variation between high and low water on a big spring tide while tidal rates can vary from 5.25 knots on a spring tide to 2.25 knots on a neap tide.
