At lunch time there are two options for visitors to The Mermaid Tavern.
The Courtyard Menu
Open daily 12 noon to 2.30pm
Open every day from April to October, the courtyard menu serves typical pub food such as burgers, fish & chips, steak and a selection of bistro dishes. There is a selection of meals for 'young adults' prepared using only fresh ingredients. The courtyard menu should appeal to all tastes and pockets, so even the fussiest of diners should find something that tempts them!
Guests order their food at the till service point and then return to their tables with a drink and sit in the sunshine while our staff prepare the meal and bring it over to their table. On those days when the weather is not quite as good, visitors are able to eat inside the tavern or at our Top-deck seating area.
Snack-bar
The Mermaid Snack-bar is generally open all day throughout the whole season. It serves a selection of hot & cold drinks along with a variety of cakes which are baked on the premises. There is also a wide choice of sandwiches, filled rolls, ice-creams, snacks and sweets. Either 'eat in' at The Mermaid Courtyard or else take your lunch to the beach to enjoy the views and the sunshine.
There is something for everyone to enjoy at lunchtime in The Mermaid Tavern.
