After a long day spent on-board your boat and having taken time to moor up, the last thing you really want to do is cook an evening meal for you and your crew. Why not try one of the excellent restaurants on Herm and see why they are so popular with local boaters and visitors.
There is something on Herm to suit everyone's tastes. From a formal meal with silver service in the Hotel to a barbecue meal at The Mermaid Tavern. If you really want a bit of time apart from your crew-mates, then we have enough restaurants to ensure you can all do something different.
Alternatively, if you prefer to leave your boat in the St Peter Port marina then why not make use of the evening sailings on the Herm Trident? That way you do not have to worry about losing your place on the pontoon or getting your best clothes wet in a dinghy!
The ferry leaves Cambridge Steps at 19:00 most nights of the week during the high season and leaves Herm at 22:45. Sit in Herm, have dinner and watch the sun go down over the St Peter Port marina. The sunsets are far more spectacular viewed from Herm!
You will need to make a reservation at either the Mermaid or the Hotel for dinner. Only then will you be allocated a place on the Herm ferry, which has limited capacity on its night-time trips. See the links to the right for contact details and sample menus.
