The Argosy, Post Office & Harbour Shops of Herm Island
Herm's gift shops have a reputation for providing interesting and good value items. Our unique shops offer an assortment of ranges from Clothing and accessories, from companies such as
Crew Clothing,
Weird Fish,
Reef and
Kulu to Jewellery, Pottery and curios of many different companies. We can offer a vast selection of toys and beach goods, chocolates , souvenirs and confectionery as well as phone cards for Cable and wireless, toiletries and newspapers during seasonal times.
The shops are set in a Mediterranean style piazza, which was built by a team of Italian builders and craftsmen in the 1960's. This adds great character to the harbour front and fits in well with the white washed and pastel coloured cottages. The small post office sells fascinating Herm Island stamps and First Day Covers which have become collectors items all over the world as well as a full postage service to any destination in the world. Your postcards will even have a unique Herm frank on them when they are posted.

On Herm our tiny visitors are of equal importance and with this in mind The Argosy section has a fantastic range of toys and novelties and beach gifts to suit even the smallest pockets.
