The Noble Family Leave Herm

Sarah, Jim, Honey and Jack Noble

Four years after arriving in the Channel Islands to make their life on Herm Jim, Sarah, Jack and Honey Noble family have packed up their home to move back to the Nottingham area. They moved to Herm when Jim took up the post of manager for the island gift shops. In that time he has made his own mark on the range of items offered for sale and has introduced the ‘Crew’ and ‘Wierd Fish’ range of clothing into the shops. Jim became known for his very dry sense of humour!

Sarah has worked quietly behind the scenes of the shop and is the one responsible for doing the window display in The Harbour Shop. During the winter Sarah helped with the stocktaking and the pricing of new items.  Soon after Sarah arrived it emerged that she was a trained hairdresser - it wasn't long before she became responsible for styling the hair of many islanders!

Jack and Honey (now 9 and 6 years old) have become real island children over the past four years and were usually to be found playing outside with other island children and holidaymakers. Although they will miss their island friends both the children are looking forward to the different opportunities at their new school. Jack is returning to the school he left when he came to Herm!

The Noble family have been replaced by The Waterhouse family: Neil, Juliet and India (4). (News on them to follow soon.)
