Mr. and Mrs. Terry Gardiner 13th September 2008

Terry Gardiner and the former Zoe Heyworth were married in St. Tugual's Church, Herm Island on September 13th 2008.  Zoe is the second daughter of Adrian and Pennie Heyworth.  Terry and Zoe met when they were both students at Oxford Brookes university studying Estate Management.  They are both Chartered Surveyors and have recently moved from London to Guernsey where they have bought a house.
Zoe's bridesmaids were her two sisters:  Hannah (left) and Abigail.  Proud father, Adrian accompanies his daughters on the short walk from the family home to the island church.  No wedding transport needed for this wedding!
Tim & Margaret Ellis and Jo Grimshaw - uncle and aunts of the bride.
Jan Wood and Pennie, aunt and mother of the bride.
Rosie Dorey, aunt of the bride.
Charlie and Chloe Dorey, cousins of the bride.
Karen and David Walder, school friends of the bride.  Karen and David lived on Herm from their toddler years and until they were both teenagers.  They all went to Herm school together.  Karen is now an advocate on Guernsey and David is a doctor in London.
Some of the flowers needed for the arrangements for the church, marquee, bouquets and buttonholes.  All the flowers were arranged by Mel Brown whose day job is island secretary in the island administration office!  This photo was taken late afternoon the day before the wedding.  The reception was in a marquee which had been erected on the lawn of the Manor.
Mel was up until the early hours finishing the arrangements.
Head gardener, Brett Moore, is also a special constable for Herm.  He was on duty during the wedding ceremony!
Jonathan Watson, manager of The White House Hotel was in charge of catering for the guests.  He is used to organising weddings in the marquee which is put up on the hotel lawns but they don't normally involve transporting all the food up the hill!
