Travelling to Herm is easy. Just get into St Peter Port and hop on the Herm Trident and 20 minutes later you will be in Herm.
The Harbour area is easily located in St Peter Port and has public parking available nearby for those with cars. There are also bus stops within easy walking distance. Alternatively you can take advantage of Guernsey's 'Park & Ride' scheme that operates from Footes Lane.
If you are staying at a hotel on Guernsey then ask reception staff about the easiest way to get in to St Peter Port. They should be able to advise you on local buses and bus routes. Alternatively they could contact the bus depot, the Travel Trident Kiosk or Herm Island for advice.
An alternative to car parks and buses is to use a taxi to take you from your accommodation direct to the Trident Kiosk or the boat.
As a final alternative you could get on your bicycle and ride into town. Lock it to the railings near the Trident kiosk and away you go - certainly the cheapest way to travel!
